Cheerful Holiday lights

I thought it would be fun to paint some holiday lights. I hope you enjoy this nice pop of color.

I painted these lights after watching a fun tutorial by Jennifer Branch, Christmas Card, Retro Lights.

A light sketch first then lots of splashy color. Once completely dried, a few ink lines with a micron pen. Not trying for perfection here, just playful and fun.

Do you remember these old school lights? They bring back many sweet memories for me. We used to decorate the pines in our yard each year with these big bright lights when my boys were young. I miss those days but cherish the memories…🎄❤️
