After recently painting roses with coffee, I just had to get back to watercolor…
Happy Thursday, friends!Β π
6 x 9 inch Watercolor Roses
A little more practice painting roses and keeping things loose. I’ve been using bigger round brushes lately and I think that helps.
I hope you are inspired to create art and do more of what you love.
Until next time, share a smile and shine on!
Happy Valentine’s Day! π

Pretty. I don’t think coffee will ever replace watercolor.

This is lovely! I’m not great at florals, but I was working on it last night for a February prompt. Hopefully I’ll have it up next week. π
Blessings!

I find your work is amazing, do you paint from real roses and flowers that you see or is it from your imagination?

Thanks so much! ππΈ
Very often I will use a photograph or sketch as my inspiration. With roses or other flowers I sometimes use my imagination or memory having practiced the basic shape so often.
