Soft floral watercolor and supplies

Spring flowers watercolor

A soft pink floral to share today and a view of my painting supplies.

Happy Thursday, friends! 😊

I used a Micron pen to draw a few lines as a base for my floral vines.

I have a serious color crush on the combination of quinacridone rose and yellow ochre. It creates this lovely peachy pink shade. I couldn’t resist and once again had to use it in this painting. πŸ’—

Now on to my supplies… (well used and quite messy)Β  πŸ˜‰

These chop stick holders are great for propping up my brushes.

I love my little bunnies, they are so cute! 🐰

I use two watercolor palettes and an additional mixing tray.Β  My watercolor paints are a combination of both Winsor & Newton and Daniel Smith brands.

Princeton watercolor brushes are my favorite and I have been slowly replacing my old brushes with them.

Thank you for stopping by and following me on this creative journey.

Until next time, share a smile and shine on!

  1. I can see why you like the combination of q. rose and yellow ochre — it’s beautiful. Like these words, “serious color crush.” Wonderful to see your supplies (adorable bunnies) and your art all so intimate in your painterly life, Patty Anne, thank you.

  2. A very pretty watercolour Patty Anne. And I love to see other peoples art supplies. We’re all so different in what we prefer and it’s so interesting to see what other people love to use…
