Having fun painting leaves

I have some simple leaves to share withย you today. I always enjoy painting leaves and find it to be quite relaxing.

Happy Sunday, friends!ย ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฟย

I played with different colors and brushes in this painting. Each stem is angled in a different direction creating a fun pattern of leaves.

Another attempt in a similar style, just enjoying the process without worrying about results.

It kind of reminds me of wallpaper or fabric design.

Painting leaves is a good way to practice brush strokes.

Using more or less pressure on your brush as you paint allows you to vary the shape of your leaves. More pressure equals a wider area and less pressure a narrow area. Combining both in one stroke can create some nice results with a little practice.

I hope you enjoy seeing my work and are inspired to create and have fun. Thank you for stopping by and following me on this creative journey.

Until next time, share a smile and shine on!
