I have some lively green leaves to share with you today.Β πΏ
I’m always excited when things start to wake up and come to life in the garden.
Happy Sunday, friends! π
I started with simple watercolor leaf shapes using a large round brush (#12).
Leaves in the Breeze – 9 x 12 inch Canson Mix Media sketchbook
After the watercolor dried, I added some ink sketching on top. Then a few tiny doodles here and there just because it makes me happy.
I’m always surprised at how much movement is created when overlapping the ink and watercolor shapes.
I hope you are inspired to create art and do more of what you love. Thank you for stopping by and following me on this creative journey.
Until next time, share a smile and shine on!

It IS amazing how the way you add the ink lines gives the perception of movement. It’s lovely! I’m very fond of movement in art.
