I have a little walk through of my blooming doodle to share today.
Hope your day is wonderful! π
Starting off with a basic drawing of floral shapes for this doodle.
I like having some overlapping pieces that make it more interesting.
After I select a pattern, I try to use it in a few sections near each other.
With some trial and error I have found that I like a variety of light and dark areas in my doodles.
I’m still playing and learning as I go…
It slowly starts to take shape as more areas are filled in. In this piece I used few different pen sizes, 04, 02, and 005.
Sometimes the patterns end up a bit different than planned but that’s ok. There are no rules in doodling and that always feels good.
This type of art is fun and relaxing. I love having a piece in progress that I can pick up and work on in the evening.

The final piece makes me happy.Β πΒ This type of post is always fun for me to put together. I hope you enjoyed it as well.
Thank you for stopping by and following along.
Until next time, share a smile and stay excellent!

I love combining zentangle and drawing and you always create such interesting patterns. I am bad about sticking with one pen, it looks so much better with a variety of nib sizes, such a great tip!

I like the variety and some patterns and easier with a smaller tip when the area is tiny. ππΈ
