A walk through my sketchbook

I’m opening up my sketchbook today. A little walk through to share a few of my recent botanical line drawings.

Hope your day is wonderful!ย  ๐Ÿ’š

More leaves and vines just because they make me happy.

A lovely sketch that makes me think of an invitation or announcement of some kind.

It’s always fun to play and practice in my sketchbook. I hope you enjoyed seeing what I’ve been up to.

Thank you for stopping by and following me on this creative journey.

Until next time, share a smile and shine on!

  1. I really do enjoy seeing the creative process in action and your sketches help me to understand better how you think, Patty Anne, how you practice, and how you develop your ideas. When I go to a museum, I always think it is cool when I can see the sketches of famous artists, only some of which turned into finished works. Thanks for sharing this view into your private sketchbook.

  2. I love flipping back through my sketch books, sometimes I find sketches unfinished that need attention, and often find sketches I had totally forgotten about! I just read Jill’s blog post about your get together, how much fun! I love the art you gave each other!!

  3. Thanks for sharing your sketchbook. Sometimes I find mine to be either too messy or too personal to share, but yours is an inspiration! I read how you and Jill met up – I bet you both had so much fun. I loved the little bird painting you gave her and especially your extra step of how it was presented with the embellishments. So sweet!!
