I have a happy pink and gray doodle sketch to share today.
Happy Sunday, friends! πΈ
Β
I started out with a soft watercolor under painting. Multiple layers of pink and gray creating a little floral pattern.
I set my painting aside and thought about it a while. Before adding ink sketching I like to wait until I have a general plan and some quiet time.
About a week later I pulled out my pens and had some fun.
7 x 10 inch Pink and Gray Floral Swirls
I like how the swirls were easily transformed into roses with some curved lines. The playful leaves really worked out well and kind of guide your eyes upward. π
Β It always feels good when things come together at the end. I love how the ink sketching wakes up the painting and brings on the happy. π
I hope you are inspired to create art and do more of what you love.
Until next time, share a smile and shine on!

I had fun with this style. I love how one idea leads to another when playing in my sketchbook.
