I’m in love with paintings of potted plants and flowers. This week I decided to paint a few.
Hope your day is wonderful, friends! π

9 x 12 inch – Three in a row (a sunny hello)
I imagine these pretty pots sitting on a patio or deck somewhere. I think they would be a cheerful addition to an outdoor space.
A few notes:
– I used mixed media paper here. I might have been better off with my watercolor sketchbook that can handle more water. The paper started giving me trouble at the end and buckled a bit.
– Keeping the color and size of the pots slightly different helps create interest.
– Positioning of the pots is also important. It’s more interesting if the spacing between them is different. I think I was partially successful with this one.
I recently reached 1000 followers here on WordPress. Thank you all for following me on this journey. I appreciate your kind words and support. Starting an art blog and putting my work online for all to see was something way out of my comfort zone. I’m so happy that I jumped in and gave it a go.
I hope you are inspired to create art and do more of what you love. Until next time, sprinkle kindness everywhere.
