Painting a Fall Wreath

I have a fall wreath to share with you today.

Happy Thursday, Friends! 🧑

I started out by lightly outlining a bowl on my paper with a pencil.

Then I painted some watercolor leaves around the circle using a large round brush.
First round – pale yellow leaves
Second round — pale orange leaves
Third round – darker leaves, reddish orange and reddish brown

I let each round of leaves dry before painting the next. Then the final touch was cleaning up the stems and softening up a few rough edges with a damp brush.  I like how this simple wreath turned out.  😊

I will be taking a little break but will be back soon.

Until next time, share a smile and stay excellent!
