Coffee floral paintings

I’ve been having fun painting with coffee again and have a few new paintings to share.

Happy Sunday, friends! 😊

A quick session painting flowers and leaves in my sketchbook.

Mixing more water creates a light color and using less water creates a darker color.

For my coffee paint, I like using espresso powder for baking but you can use left over brewed coffee or instant coffee.

A little coffee talk to go along with this post…

I need to get going on opening a Society6 shop. I’ve wanted to do this for some time. I think my delay has been both a time and confidence issue. I would love to be able to order a few items with my artwork printed on them.

If you have any suggestions or lessons learned using that platform, I hope you will share.

Until next time, take care and be well my friends.

  1. Wow. Your results are amazing. I love the look of your coffee paintings, Patty Anne. It turns out that coffee is pretty versatile. A couple of years ago I came across a recipe for developing black and white film using a mixture of coffee and Vitamin C–I’ve never tried it, but apparently it works pretty well.
