I have a little walk through of a small Zentangle that I’ve been working on.
Happy Thursday, friends!Β π
I love to doodle and play with different patterns. This time I remembered to take a few progress shots to share with you. So here we go…
Doodle and flow – part 1
I started from the top filling in a few sections.
Doodle and flow – part 2
I love vines and leaves so I added them near the top so that they could float down through the piece.
Doodle and flow – part 3
Darkening the background of a section really pushes the pattern forward.
I tried to mix things up a bit with size and shape. I think a little variety makes the piece more interesting.
Doodle and flow –Β 6 x 6 inch Strathmore Artist Paper
I love how calming this type of project is. I am able to just enjoy creating and leave all worries behind. Watching it all come together is always fun for me. It’s like putting together a puzzle.
I hope you are inspired to create art and do more of what you love. I started doodling and playing with Zentangle about a year ago. It is super fun and very easy to do. All you need is a pen and piece of paper, you probably already have that on hand.
Until next time, share a smile and doodle on! π
